    ​Asharqia Chamber announces the merging of the Eastern Business Youth Council

    In fulfillment of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz - Prince of the Eastern Region and Honorary President of the Eastern Business Youth Council, and with the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman - Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region, to merge the Eastern Business Youth Councils under the name of "Eastern Business Youth Council", the council held its first meeting today, Thursday, March 18, 2021, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, and the Secretary-General of the Chamber, Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel.

    Al-Khalidi said in a speech that the Eastern Businessmen Councils and Young Women Councils played a growing role over their previous years, in developing future entrepreneurs, and the two councils have achieved many achievements in serving the young men and women business sector, by enriching their economic knowledge and increasing their skills in self-employment. Incorporating them into one council today only enhances their journey in serving the region’s young businessmen and unites their efforts towards achieving their goals that are inseparable from the goals and requirements of the vision by activating the role of youth in economic work paths.

    Al-Khalidi urged the new council to do its utmost to contribute to preparing a new generation of Saudi youth to be competitive business owners, and to transform them from mere job seekers to job opportunity makers, calling for diversifying their programs in developing young entrepreneurs and introducing initiatives that serve entrepreneurs in various He also called for the best use of the support programs set up by the state and the incubator financing and advisory agencies to support the role of entrepreneurship.​


    For this part, the Chairman of the Eastern Business Youth Council, Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Farraj, said that the merging of the two councils coincides with a new phase and a unique vision whose indicators bear determination and determination to push the wheel of development towards sustainability. Promising to continue developing and developing performance in response to the aspirations of the young business sector in the Eastern Province, and keeping pace with the Kingdom's vision 2030 concerning young businessmen and women, appreciating the great efforts made by the rational government, to support young men and women entrepreneurs in various fields and pushing them to take their role in the national economy and its keenness to qualify and equip young people with the necessary skills to enter into economic work.​

    For her part, Vice President of the Eastern Business Youth Council, Naglaa Abdel Qader, said that integration provides greater opportunities for uniting and concerting efforts towards the issues and concerns of young men and women in the eastern region, and pushes more programs and initiatives to expand the participation of young people in the process of escalating growth witnessed by the national economy at various levels.

    The Vice President of the Eastern Business Youth Council, Hamad Muhammad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, said that the new council stems from the concepts of integrative work, which in turn contributes to unifying ideas towards serving the most important resource of the Kingdom, which is the Saudi youth, who represents the main pillar in the implementation of the Kingdom's vision 2030, whether it is an engaged employee. In performing his job or an employer who contributes his work to the structure of this country, stressing that the merger would achieve excellence in performance and raise the rates of ability to address the challenges facing entrepreneurs in the Eastern Province​​
